I think its an interesting article on nhl.com, with some news about foppa, and a list of the best available free agents...

Why would you like him. It is like spending money to have him on the bench to get well from all the injuries he's had. Besides the peak of his career is over and it is time for new young players. We all have much of a sentiment for him but let's face it he did not have any sentiment as long as 2004 contract signings was concerned and went away and as they say you never walk into the same river twice. So be well Foppa but somwhere else !

thats the reason, why I posted my 2 comments:
1) Hopefully, Foppa hast more home feelings than money in his heart
2) For the right price --> YES
If we can get him for a 3-4 million 1-year-contract, than I would say YES, go and get him! But its the question, if he accepts a 3-4 million 1yc...
What the avalanche org. should NOT do, is go into a buying-war with Rangers or so and acquire him for a 3year-6million conctract...That would be way to much...
