So, first game today against the dallas stars:

predictions, opinions and generall discussions to all the regular season-games have place here in this topc!!

My first thought: Avs will win in overtime 3-2....heard bad news, that Q started to mix up the lines...bruno now plays with stazz and wolksi, and hejduk with sakic and smyth...althought they havent played on the same line in the preseason...i think Q should not have done that

Yeah, it`s true Q mixed up scoring lines. He said he did that because it hadn`t been good chemistry in the first line Smyth-Sakic-Bruno. He believed it was result of simillar playing style presented by Smyth and Brunette. Predicted lines for opening night:

Smyth-Sakic-Hejduk
Hlinka-Stastny-Brunette
Wolski-Arnason-Lappy
Smith-Guite-Parker/Svatos

Hannan-Clark
Leopold-Sauer
Liles-Skrastins

Budaj
Weiman

so, Im sooooooooooooooooooo sorry Mister Quenneville....you were so fvckin' right with the line change...I saw the game yesterday, and the line combo of bruno-stazz-hlinka was sooooo great..unbelievable!!!!!

A few more games like this, and I think this line shoud move up to the first one....

by the way...hat trick stazz, 3 assists bruno, 2 assits hlinka, lots of good shots, good chemistry...and also the 3rd line with wolski and arnason showed great signs....only first line slumped a little bit.

4-3 for avs!!!

and that leads us to today's game against the predators:

my bet: 5-2 for colorado!

Well, quite a good game. New players played nice - Hannan with Clark was brilliant. First line also put some good effort and had marvelous shifts with a lot of speed and shots. Stastny and Hlinka (what a passes he did!!!) was abosolutely amazing. Bruno as well. However, they shouldn`t have let the Stars came close to one goal - it was really nervous last few minutes. Another thing is Stars had some lucky bounces in their first and last goal.

Today game IMO will be very tough. Avs was never good at day-to-day games. The Preds will be fresh team, and probably would dominate on the ice. They didn`t have to travel as well. So, if we manage to take even 1 point, I will be glad.
