You might think that in something like the alternative and punk scene, accessories would be something really louboutin pas cher easy to choose that would require almost no thought. Believe it or not, that isn't the case. , punk, and alternative people have their own set of rules louboutin to play by, and if you either want to fit into the scene, or just want to buy a nice gift for someone you know, here are some great tips.
Scarves: Particularly a staple in emo circles, long, skinny scarves are hollister pas cher a popular accessory. I'm not talking about shawls or great big scarves you'd use for warmth in the arctic. Nor am I talking about those short and thick scarves. Long and thin. They're entirely impractical and are all but glorified woolrich parka ties, but male or female, this is a great choice. Bonus points for stripes!
Earrings: In general, you want to keep your earrings small, if you're a www.vivid-host.com/barbour.htm punk. Lots of them are fine, but in general, small studs and captive bead hoops are the way to go. In some circles, chunky plastic earrings with things like guns, skulls, www.achbanker.com/home.php hearts, or stars, are entirely acceptable -- if you're a girl, anyway. Otherwise, keep it small and simple.
Belts: Two words: spikes and studs! Punk, hollister sale alternative, emo... it doesn't matter. This is the definitive belt to be worn. Especially with doudoune moncler the buckle on the side of your pants. For some reason, it makes you appear thinner. Really. Someone did a scientific study -- this is 100% a fact!
Necklaces: Punk kids generally like leather and/or spiked collars. This won't float as much with emo or alternative kids, where ball chain, fake pearls and plastic beads are considered far more fashionable. Small charms are also cool, and layering is entirely encouraged [even though a lot of it will just be covered by the scarves.]
Rings: Not the most common accessory in the alternative scene. It's one of the mysteries of the world. If you do have a ring, say because you're engaged or married, small is key, and diamonds are extremely rare to see.
Bracelets: Again, punk kids love the leather and/or spiked cuffs. Emo and alternative styles tend to feature more terry cloth wristbands, black jelly bracelets, and small beaded bracelets. Of course, the ultimate bracelet in these scenes is an old wristband from a particularly great show the wearer went to the night [or week] peuterey before.
Piercings: Anything goes! Ears, nose, lip... eyebrow is a bit passe, but if you can swing it, go for it. The only real "no" is the navel ring: those are for sorority girls and Britney Spears types. I'm pretty sure it is the tackiest thing you can get!
Glasses: Whether you need giuseppe zanotti pas cher them or not, glasses are a great fashion accessory. You can get them with prescription frames or clear glass in them. The trick? Thick black frames. Think: what the nerds in high school wore. They're cool now, at least in boots ugg pas cher these scenes. If you're a girl, cat-eye glasses are amazing, especially if they have some rhinestones in the corners.
While ultimately, being a part of the emo, alternative, and punk scenes is really about being who you are hollister france -- and what you are most comfortable with... these are some really general tips. They're not rules [because you know, rules are meant to be broken!] but they're a great starting point -- a the perfect place to look if you're trying to find a gift for someone with taste that is a bit off the beaten path.
