PostPosted: Tue 15:50, 28 Aug 2007    Post subject: Members - duties or no ?

Hey ! I have seen any passivity in any members. Most werent on our meeting, most ignore my emails, most doing anything. So I have question for you, active mebers Smile !

Do you think, that every member should have some duties like be on meeting, chatting etc. ? Or only being in fan club and doing anything ?

Please write your ideas.

Thank you.

my opinion to this:

well, in order to get a large group of members here, i dont think, we should introduce any special duties to the members. Very often, people have no time on a special day and it is very often hard, to get 30 people together on a date...but I think "the other way round" would be good: what I mean, is Incentives instead of duties:

for example: only "active" members have the right to vote in special topics --> if a poll is like "who will be the next top scorer in the league", everybody should be allowed to vote. But if there are any fangroup-related polls, very important polls like "when should be our meeting" or "whats our new motto" for example, only active members should be allowed to vote. Or another example: if we really get the eurolanche-fan-T-shirts, active members must pay 10 euros for a shirt, inactive members maybe 15 or something like that....or another incentive: special access to special sections like photo-gallery/forum topics or so...

so to sum up: No duties, but incentives...that would be my opinion....

thanx wobbie & dado...

the only question is: whats the difference between active and inactive members? where do you wanna draw the limit? is the limit a certain number of posts, or a number of attendances to meetings or the time being online on the site....that decision will be hard, but its in the hands of the founders, so i dont have to bother with that Smile
